If you want to see a wide range of mods that have been made to these bikes over the years, here is a terrific page to have a look at. Mastery of French language would be an advantage but there are lots of photos and anyone familiar with the Yamaha twinshocks will have no problem working out what is what.
There is even a twin leading-shoe front brake modification using the standard brake plate.
The 72.5mm bore sleeve in a TY175 barrel which is pictured is exactly how my hot-rod 205cc TY175 was done.
