hi,
I know your all going to laugh, but I'm asking anyway.
I have seen some seats for Trials bikes http://www.buttrest.co.uk/
& http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &viewitem=
anyone have one
this might be good for learning and for my wife to lean to ride on as my trail bike is way too high for her, but also I ride with my kids a lot so it would be good to be able to sit and rest now and then. wouldn't want it on all the time though
or should I just toughen up :D

The Ebay seat for US$89 is available here in Australia from any Chinese pit bike importer for $20 or you are bveing ripped off

Mounting it won't be too hard.

But....Will sitting in that position be anymore useful to a learner than trying to sit on your trail bike?

yeah, thought the ebay one was bodgey & it looked like an XR50 rip off.
I think it's be much easier than my trail bike, 40kg lighter & more important much lower (I can't touch the ground on uneven ground sometimes & I am 6')

Hey Ted listen up .....When you start riding the bigger square faced or undercut rocks your butt or your testies will not thank you for buy that seat.
But I suppose we all have to learn these things the hard way....oooch!!

Best of balance.

fair nuff, was just thinking about when I was putting around with the kids & if my wife wanted a go , it would definatly have to be removable
