Scorps wins me over at last

Post by David Lahey »

Yes Scorps has finally converted me away from my old grungy cheapskate wheel rebuilding habits.

A few years ago I used to bang on about how good it looked when rebuilding wheels to just paint the spokes silver and reuse them. Of course Scorps was way too polite to laugh out loud when I said I reused spokes by painting them but somehow over the past few years I think his influence has converted me because today I realised that I am in the process of respoking my EIGHTH TY twinshock wheel with new spokes! How could this have happened without me even realising??? Subliminal or what? Amazing I reckon

](*,) ......

Two words David - "Stainless Spokes!!!!"

At least your getting better! :D And tell me about the yellow and black TY you're wheely-ing on in the last post? Is that a non-standard paint job I see? The day I saw a Gladtone based Twinshocker riding a non-standard bike would be the day Australia had a female Prime Minister....

Oh wait?!?
Children are smarter than any of us. Know how I know that? I don't know one child with a full time job and children.

Yes Scorps you do know us too well. The non-standard-graphics TY250A is a Brissy bike. Hagsta bought that bike with that paint scheme and it looked too cool to change so there it stayed.
Do you know if there are any other single bike type attendance number attempts this year (other than TY250A)? If you want to do another KT250 attempt I will bring mine.
