OK, here's a quick heads up....

As some of the Denman crew know, i've got a container of bikes coming out from japan and they will be here in the next week or so. I think there are half a dozen TLR200's a couple of 250's (mono type) and some TLM220 two strokes. Most of the bikes are in very good condition but I will be parting some out to generate spares such as forks, hubs, wheels, swingarms etc etc. The two strokes are all mono with the exception of a TLM50. I have already offloaded a TL125 and possibly the TLM 50 to club mates so if you are interested in anything else just let me know.

Here's a photo taken on the day they were packed.

....and here is a another in the container. twenty bikes in all.

At this moment I can't finalise costs because I need to aportion the shipping and import element once they arrive but basically I am intending to just cover my costs.

The bikes will be in the Newcastle area. Any questions, 0418 348 670

Cheers

Andy

Update for interested parties:

I received an arrival notice today from the customs broker saying the ship arrives on 13th September not 6th September as they had originally said.

I was hoping to have some info ready for the next trial at Denman next week but it looks like the container will still be in port. I'll be up there anyway so i'll bring what I can.

Here are a couple of photos showing typical examples as they were in Japan.

Unfortunately I can't ride the trial now as I was very cruelly wiped out while riding down to the shops last sunday on my trailie.....car parked at a give way with indicator on. Nice straight road, clear day, I could see him for 100m, 80m 60m 40m ....when I was about 15m from him and going somewhere between 80 and 60kmh he pulled out.....NOT GOOD....straight over the bars.... :( fortunately I just dislocated a thumb although my bike is written off. He accepted full responsibilty and I am very lucky not to be more seriously hurt....PHEW..

Any questions just give me a ring.

Andy

Another update for interested parties.

I was told that the bikes would be available tomorrow (Friday 17th) once the container has been unpacked and the bikes have been through quarantine. My customs broker rang today to say the container is indeed going to be unpacked tomorrow but unfortunately there is no one available from quarantine until monday so to those people looking forward to getting some photos this weekend, very sorry but it will be next week before I get access to them.

I'll be in touch with everyone as soon as I can.

Regards

Andy

Click on "Andy" located on any of his postings and then click on "send PM" (Personal Message) and write a message in the box, include a topic in the topic box then "submit" the message
Andy may or may not get an email telling him he has been sent a PM, depending on his message settings.
Even if he doesn't get an email, he will be notified that he has a PM next time he logs onto the www.trials.com.au forums
