Applications for the Motorcycling Australia’s (MA) International Competition Riders Grants are now open for riders to apply for financial assistance, up to $5000, to compete in international competition/s in 2011.
Riders from all disciplines who are interested in applying for the grants must be competing in events from 1 January 2011 – 30 June 2011, and grant application forms are available from the MA website at http://www.ma.org.au/grants.
A second round of International Rider grants for the competition period of July 1 2011 – December 31 2011 will open in March 2011
Applications close on Friday December 3 and completed forms should be sent by mail, fax or email to:

Applications will be assessed on criteria contained under the General Selection Policy found in Chapter 29 of MA’s 2010 Manual of Motorcycle Sport.
Results obtained in International meetings, Australian Championships and National level events will be taken into consideration when granting financial assistance.
In order to compete in international competitions, riders must hold a current FIM licence and insurance to the appropriate FIM standard.
