Day 1 results are out on this years SSDT.

Queenslands Boyd Wilcocks in 89th position on Day 1(44 ponts) =D>

Mitch Green from Brisbane is entered,but i cant see his name in the results?

Lampkin and Brown joint leaders on 0 points.

Boyd has had a great day 2 (dropped 18 points) now moved to down 65th place.

Mitch sitting in 170th.

Boyds now in 63rd position

Question: Who has been the best placed aussie is the ssdt?

I don't know the answer to this, but i do know that Qld's David Goldsmith rode the ssdt in the early to mid '70s and got a full page picture of himself monoing his Bully in a book about trials from the day called "MOTORCYCLE TRIALS, Techniques & Training" by Lane Leavitt and Len Weed. Cannot find a list of results on the net anywhere for that era, but he must have made an impression to score a full page spread, the caption simply say's "David Goldsmith, twice runnerup for the Oz championship, frolics on the course between sections at Achallader".
I'll ask him about it next week at Jeff's memorial trial.
