Ive owned, ridden, and maintained a dirt bike of some sort for 30+ years. Nowdays, I live on 100 acres of steep and wild bushland; I figured a trials bike would be most appropriate. So, Im not a competition rider, doubt I ever will be. Im new to trials, but Im having a grin riding my newly acquired TY175C. There are few things on the bike I'll need to tweak & repair, and I have a lot to learn about riding it..
I can see the TY has been restored in the past, then let go again. It has an IN4-series engine in a 525-series frame. Its forks and shocks need attention, but the motor starts first kick, every time.
Cheers - Jim
[My other bike is a 1988 Yamaha XT-600 Tenere]
