hey all, just got my first trials bike and im going to give it some love before i take it out.

What colour is the cylinder head and cooling fins from the factory?? Mine looks to have the remnants of black paint

Do you think the Cocky's dog ate the back end of the seat ? !! Looks like the finning was black,I cant remember what they were like new,but black would help with cooling out there,here in the UK a blow lamp would help to keep it warm at the moment....
Good luck with the project,will make a nice bike.

Fins were satin black, with polished edges..........

it was bl00dy rats!!! but that said seat isnt factory anyway, getting one made up for it from an upholsery place down here for a couple of hundred

I may be a bit biased but the TY175 looks good in all silver - note my avatar. :D

hahaha it does look good... im going to stick to the factory paintjob though might try and touch it up a bit if anyone knows what the colour code is for "very bright orange"

Hello all. If you go to any auto store and they have the large cans of acrylic lacquer spray paint it is Mandarin red ( I can`t remember what brand that one was) or in the small cans, Holts ? it is SNB Tangerine (Rainbow) PJ1055. They are both very close but not exact. Just take your sidcover in with you and match it up. Just be carefull of the flouro`s as they change the colours. Good luck. Bully Fanatic.
