hi
I would like to know what the differences between a 1975 kt 250 and a 1976 kt250
as i was given one and i dont what year it is
is there a way to tell from both years?

If it still has the original paint scheme the first was solid green with a white band and the second was metallic green with white band and pin stripes beside the band.
The first was called KT250A or KT250A1 and the second was called KT250A2 which might be part of the ID numbering on engine or frame - I don't remember
They were both almost identical apart from the colour and graphics. Some early ones had "K" on the mag cover and the remainder had "Kawasaki" there. Some had a different front brake arm but I don't remember which is which. Scorps is good on this topic and usually sets me straight
