Hi
Does anyone have any contacts for Trials Clubs, or riders in Mainland China?
We have been asked to go over and do some demo's at a Motorcycle Show, and would like to involve some local riders ..... if there are any.
I know the cycle trials scene is happening over there, but a Moto Trials club.... I don't know. I recall seeing some photos of a trial maybe five years ago, but I could recall if it was mainland China or Hong Kong, and I now cant find the reference.

The bloke who used to post in trials.com.au forums was from Hong Kong. I'm trying to remember his forum name

Perhaps you are thinking of "AQUIRA" , the bloke who was building his own bike.

He was in Bali.

I remember the Bali bloke, and there was also a bloke in a different part of Indonesia with a TY250Z who used it for riding up huge mountains, but there was a bloke in Hong Kong who set up sections in what looked like very hilly country quite close to houses. I've looked through the member list twice now but no names rang a bell for me

Jake Whittaker was over there early in the year. He did the world record for riding over barrels, and a few shows. He may be able to help with contacts.

I have seen Chinese stunt riders/trials riders on youku showing off different brands of Chinese motorcycle manufactures but unfortunately I do not know these people.

Just seen this thread.

Paul, a while ago a little birdie told me that Thierry Michaud had been seen in China after doing a recce there for a possible world round. Perhaps he would be the guy to speak to?
