G'day all.Just wondering if anyone here has ordered parts from TY Trials in the UK.If so roughly how long does it take? looking to get Chain guide bushes and an assortment of other lightish stuff that may wear out in the future for a TY 250R.....may also add a chain and sprocket set if I cant find one localy.Would the later blow out the shipping costs? Thanks.

There is probably a postage calculator for UK postage on the internet so you can work out the effect of different combinations of items yourself. You can also just ask John Cane.
I would think that a steel sprocket set would add a lot of postage cost to something like chain guides. Be aware there is a charge for volume too so things like mudguards and fuel tanks can be very expensive to post even though they are light.

Thanks for that Mike and David, looks like this place will be a goer......5-7 days,I was thinking much longer than this.I've been waiting 3 weeks for a part from the local bloke and it's gone to back order, had to pay up front to secure the order and just found the same bit (genuine) for a third of the cost in the UK.Hoping I can get a refund but I'm not holding my breath.

You do not have to pay the UK vat so that keeps the cost down
2 tyres and a set of rear twinshocks cost 99 UK pounds postage but it still worked out less than price in Aus and could not get a IRC 011 rear tyre here so had to get it from the UK and time from order to pick up at post office 7 days ,set of fork seals for Aus postage time 8 days!!!!!
Send a email to seller and ask for postage costs and do the maths

Ty trials is a good seller and will help all he can

Ty Trials are great to deal with. I've received parts from them in 5-8 days for my previous orders.
Cheers
