Fluffy Bottom End

Post by BJ »

Howard,

My bulletproof Sherco is trying to tell me something. In the last few rides it has gone off song at idle and in the low power range. The plug is clean and i'll do the air filter tomorrow but it is just fluffy and not crisp like it used to be. Is this likely to be a reed problem? I can't think of much else as i have not changed fuel mix, oil or octane.

Please help.......or I'll forget all the things Sherco Girl taught me on the weekend

UPDATE- Advice from Howard- Dust at Mt Bolton = Dirty Pilot Jet. Cleaned airfilter and blew out Jets, now bike running sweet again. Lesson learnt, keep aircleaner well serviced if you don't want a fluffy bottom end
