"Number of comments" on news articles

I have finally sorted a long-standing usability issue of having to go into each news article (on front page) to see if new comments had been added.
(And thank you to everyone who kept reminding me of it!

You will notice a new field "Comments: n" beside each article which shows you at a glance the number of comments. Combine that with a small area of your own short-term memory and we have a solution!
