Hi riffraf,

A great beginners bike depending on your size is a TY 175, engine is bullet proof, easy to get parts and there are heaps around. Another option is a Ty250 or a Bultaco Sherpa T. All of the above-mentioned bikes are great and parts are readily avaliable. That is if you want to complete in twinshock.
For modern monoshock , someone else will have tp help you ot there

Hey mate thanks for reply. i might add i did have a gas gas 175 a couple of years ago but to small for my hight and weight. i never concidered. the twin shocks ...food for thought . i was looking at a ty mono but i thought the parts would be hard to get.. i like the vibe of those though

Hello riffraf,
With kind regards to TYNSW saying the TY is bullet proof. You might ask him can you come around and have a ride on his TY175 . Bullet proof maybe. TYNSW I think not.
Got to be Bultaco all the way.
Cheers mate

Mind u I am not against the twin shocks and would conscider one for the right price...its mainly supply of parts that bugs me..would hate to be riding...then not riding cause I can't get the part I need...that's why I am asking u guys
