If you are writing about BJ lowering kit, you need to cut the old footpeg attachement drill and tap to bolt the top of the new bracket, for the bottom, if your frame is an A model than you will need to weld a threaded plug to the lower frame or use a long bolt. I am telling you what a friend had to do to install is a couple years ago.

I have found that phone calls work much better than emails with B&J Racing

B&J racing sell two types. One is the Sammy Miller Products type and the other is made for/by B&J Racing. The second sort is pretty easy to make yourself if you want and in my opnion looks much neater than the SM Products type. It requires the making of the two 5mm mounting plates, the welding on of universal footpeg brackets to the plates, cutting off the existing footpeg mounts and tapping a thread into the remains of the mount.

I tried to post the picture of mine, but no luck. Lucky for me, David's one are a lot nicer and on the same track. When you make your own the way David did you can decide that they aren't to your liking and change the position.

A little work for a lot of benefit.
