TLR 250 throttles
Just wondering what sort of throttles people are using on there TLR's quick or slow ? & why you use it & what differences you have found if you experiment with both?
Re: TLR 250 throttles
Hi eagle,
Most TLR owners I have seen are using the standard throttle, the if it ain't broke don't fix it theory
I haven't experimented with any any other options, though would suspect fast throttles would increase the chances of engine hesitation, due to air reaching the combustion chamber before fuel has had the chance to mix with it.

Re: TLR 250 throttles
Hi Eagle,
As per Sharvie's comments, I wouldn't want a faster throttle with the standard setup, just more likely to have it flame out, that may be different with a non standard carby.
Cheers

Hi
I use a slow to med metal throttle body on my TLR250 but i have a flat slide carb fitted to mine and it works good as you have slow at low revs and a bit quicker response when you open the throttle and never had engine hesitation
