Replacement Front Brake Adjuster Bolts

Post by Neo »

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can get some of these AJP “Replacement Front Brake Adjuster Bolts” just like on the RYP website?

https://secure.rypusa.com/prodpage.cfm? ... lected=156

Many thanks.

Hi Howard,

I've emailed Don.

I don’t suppose your bolts are a fraction longer (1 or 2mm) than the originally AJP bolts?

I just need to bring in the leaver a bit more for GGG to reach it easier.

Sounds like your back might be a bit better now, if your still considering coming up this weekend?

Take care.

Neo,
They`re 3mm longer. I too have the same problem as GGG, and like the lever close to the bar.
My back is not too good, will decide Saturday on riding. Don is going and will have adjusters for you.

Of course Andy does action, he has real gripping hands amongst other things.......... You should of seen him grip the bike when his handle bars fell forward half way up a rock at the Beverly Two Days........ To get back on the topic at hand do the adjusters still eat into the levers as per the standard ones do over time?

Ow nearly forgot Hi Heath!

Hi Anstini.

“Eat into the levers” Sounds like you don’t break and replace many levers (like I do!! ) to me.

I’ve never kept a lever long enough to seen any "eating" just a bit of buffing!!. ^-=-^

Best of boulders.

The end of the adjuster hasn't eaten into my lever yet and it has been on there over a year..
