Con Rods / kit - Aftermarket

My TY250E needs a bottom end rebuild. Yamaha don't have them.
Can anyone tell me what brands of connecting rods are good and what to avoid.

Trail and Trials UK ,Have all the parts you need , you:ll have your order processed real quick,with the VAT deducted,--------- But postage is notoriously slow, been waiting nearly two months for a piston kit , infact everything I have bought over the years has taken an age to arrive !! But so far ( Touch Wood !!! ) everything has arrived !!

I got a con rod kit from yambits in the UK.

A little story that is not quite about TY250 rods but.
I have just finished a rebuild on a 2 clyinder Yamaha crank. The owner asked me to quote to supply rod kits and main bearings which I did and then he priced the parts out of the UK. The UK prices came out lower so he had them shipped, on arrival I had a good look over the parts and found the Rod kits to be of a much lower standard off quality than the localy available parts. The main difference was the big end roller , local bearing was a nice silver plated item and the UK version was copper plated. The UK rod where quite a bit lighter than the originals which may or may not effect the balance.
Main bearing where a good brand but the twins have pinned bearings and the UK supplied standard bearings that had been drilled to take a pins only they had drilled in to far and had blued the metal under the drilling. This left a soft spot for the balls to run on. I put them in the bin but the owner wanted to send them back for credit.
The rods will work but will they last?
The question, is it worth buying the cheapest possible part from overseas or pay a bit more for good quality localy source aftermarket?
