Hey
I'm making my own trials section at my farm,
I'm looking for ideas of what sort of obstacles and that
Should I build or get in?
Started making boxes with pallets etc
All ideas would help please
As soon as it's finished everyone would be more then welcome
To come and ride it, change things or what ever
Cheers
Making my own back yard section.

Big logs and big tyres are good to use because you can move them into position then add dirt. I usually build sections on a slope and hold the logs in position with steel pegs. Big rocks are good too but they are usually difficult to move into position. Dirt mounds wear down pretty quickly
Think about adding deep sand in places to add difficulty in turns and takeoffs

relax, nothing is under control

Re: Making my own back yard section.
Try getting you hands on a good stack of pallets too, they will offer a variable section. Easy to change them to keep it fresh.

Re: Making my own back yard section.
Started knocking up a few of these pallet boxes,
What's peoples thoughts and ideas.
Going to cut ply wood for either side to enclose the box,
will be buried about 1 foot into ground for stability.
Have completely covered it in oil to protect the wood and make them last.
Am thinking of making a few triangle boxes I can place anywhere.
Chasing up some concrete pipes and logs at the moment.
Local tyre shop gave me some old grader tyres which was great.
Input and opinions and welcome, hoping to finish it soon.
Will organise a weekend to come out so we can ride and camp.
Also have a heap of awesome natural terrain like rocks, water gullys etc

I'd rather be a D grade participant than an A grade spectator....
