which licence

Post by LJS »

Which licence do I need for Moto-trials in QLD, just at club level.
I will also be doing some trail ride days.

Recreational Licence:
Minimum age is 16 years of age. Entitles the holder to participate in practice and coaching activities, trail rides and other 'non-competition' events only.

or

Senior Restricted National Licence:
Entitles the holder to participate in senior Fast 50's, Mini-Moto, and Moto-Trials competitions only.

Both theses are from Motorcycling QLD

Cheers

If you want to be scored at an MA trial, you need the SRN licence . A Rec licence allows you to ride the sections in a trial, but not compete in the trial.
The SRN also allows you to ride Recreational MA events like the Lowmead Reloaded trail ride
relax, nothing is under control

i've gone the recreational licence, they will still score you in competition but you it isn't recorded officially. tomorrow, 23 feb, in the national come and try day and they are offering free annual recreational licences to riders who attend to encourage participation this year in compeition.

the only thing is the moto-trials bit has been postponed so not sure if this offer will still apply when it does occur... or whether you could go to the enduro or mx events tomorrow and obtain the free rec licence for moto-trials still. it may be tied in with signing up with a club on the day?

details here: http://www.ma.org.au/index.php?id=1880

there are events at tivoli and murphys creek near toowoomba and more....
