Handlebar position on trials motorcycle

Post by jml »

How accurate is the following description (picture included) of bar position for a trails bike; http://www.thumpertalk.com/topic/818577 ... try8474270

After watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R0z8o7OSde0 I'm a little confused at which part of the bar we are lining up with the fork angle.

Ta!

Try this

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... 0z8o7OSde0

Should give a good start point.

if your riding a modern bike, many folk start with the bars positioned vertical (when the bike is resting on its wheels i.e. not on a stand) and roll them forward or back as explained in the video

Hope this helps

Thanks paul, I watched the video again and totally missed out on the fact it said "hand grips" inline with the forks and not "bars" #-o

I will be scoping out everyones bikes at Kiama!
