Looks like some sort of Rokon copy. Rider is member of Russian weight lifting team.

Greg I think that all of us realised that you need help ages ago. So do the rest of us as well. The only problem I can see with one of these bikes is it might be a little bit hard to find some tyres in a trials universal pattern to fit the bike. The rigid each end aspect might also be a problem in some sections too.

I had to laugh with the demo of it floating because what is the use of a floating bike if the rider has to walk across the waterway anyway?

Or you could save yourself all that drama and simply buy the Rokon on Ebay at the moment.

Hi Everyone,
Dragster 1964, how did you know I was born in 1964 and how did you know my first bike was a Dragster?
YES Graham, I have known for even longer that I need help! Watching the Russian bike tackle the stairs with no suspension seems to be no trouble. Low tyre pressure seems to smooth out the bumps. In my bike shed, there is a rigid 2 wheel drive one complete with a very low recommended (2.7 psi) tyre pressure . 2 of these featured in Naturally Free:

https://www.google.com.au/search?q=nodd ... 1000%3B683And yes I see what you mean David, what is the point of a bike that floats if when you let it go it floats upside down?

There is an old war movie that had a bloke on his own driving an Army Jeep, all was good until he got bogged in mud and had no winch. He tied a rope to a rock and placed it on the throttle, dumped the clutch and got out to push, when the Jeep gripped and took off he pulled the rope releasing the rock allowing the Jeep to idle down so he could jump in. All this in mind, you could strap 2 or more off these bikes together with some driftwood to make them more stable crossing water with rope to control the throttles and simply swim or be dragged behind. Another reason why it is better to ride with others!
Thankyou for the link Whitehillbilly and yes the Rokon is probably the original, but this Russian bike is more like a Trials version, lighter and more manoeuvrable and the best bit folds up into 2 bags fitting into the back of a small hatchback!
Now you have probably worked out Alistair that I am short a couple of Noddy wheels and tyres!
