Breakaway kill switch
Which side is best to mount the breakaway kill switch? And why?

Re: Breakaway kill switch
Steve it depends on which side the kickstart is on, the shift lever is on, and if you have to find neutral to kickstart the motor
For a TLR it would probably be the left side, so you can flip the kickstart lever out with your right hand (without activating the breakaway).
Some people like to find neutral with the motor running using their hand while waiting in a queue, so if they can only reach the shifter with one of their hands, then the side opposite the shift lever for the breakaway would suit that

relax, nothing is under control

Thanks David
Hadn't thought about access to the kickstarter? Have to see how much drama it will be to only use the foot to flip out the kickstar
I had a thought to run it on the right so you can scratch your face or adjust helmet position etc
Think I will have to make sure the wiring can easily reach to both sides, then swop to try each
