Problems with Editing your own posts

Hi folks,
I've had a few reports from people experiencing problems editing their own forum posts. There is a forum setting that lets you edit your post for up to 10 minutes after writing it, but beyond that, I'm not really sure what liberty a regular user is given to edit their own post?
Have we lost some post editing functionality in the last month or so? Any feedback/experience with this from regular posters is much appreciated.
