I was talking to a mate yesterday about the exact same thing, I could literally ride this anyway in my local area and not be classed as a nuisance. Currently I love my petrol bike to bits but I cannot ride it without having to ship it 30km to the track or private property. I'm worried that if I ever test ride one and like it, I'll be buying it #-o

I think the Aussie Importer is Paul Arnott at The Hell Team http://www.thehellteam.com/trial-bikes- ... ctric.html

Just saw this post re the Electicmotion 5.7 trials machine - I was lucky enough to have a test ride of one of these owned by a mate of mine, and I was quite impressed. It is strange at first, but without too much time you get used to it. It is quite responsive, more so than what I expected. The hard thing is accelerating from stop or very slow, without a clutch and no engine to listen to, it would take plenty to get used to this. You realise how important the engine noise and clutch is to launching a bike over an obstacle. In short, these bikes will slowly get more popular, an super useful (and almost sneaky) was of trials riding in suburban areas or anywhere near general public. Be awesome to ride on in a town when no one was around !!

I believe Hell Team import Electric Motion, and also distribute Mecatecno and OSET
