As you may recall in previous posts, the Mori family own and operate a trials park near Kyoto and recently held a classic trials event.
Here is a link to a video of still photos from the day.

Re: tlr200 stripping of road gear
............ agreed but with a slight variation. So as not to gum up the hole too much I went to the local hardware store and bought a small plastic cap that more or less fits the hole. Apply a little silicone and pop it in the hole, looks a bit better than just a silicone bung but does the same ...

Re: 4 Stroke or 2 Stroke ?
Sorry Brian
I can't accept that four stroke = odd. In my humble experience, there are many more 'odd' two strokers out there.
Here's one that comes to mind
and here's another barge arse
and what about mister tomato head here
...nuff said I think.

Re: Fettling a TLR 200
..... also noticed you already have a TLR250 front wheel so you should have decent brakes up front. I reckon it's from a TLR250 mono due to the colour of the rim ??

Re: Fettling a TLR 200
Michael
Replating is quite easy but to get good results you just have to be very thorough with cleaning and preparation .
I probably did three or four batches for the whole lot, axles and haevier items in one go, then maybe footpeg pins and bolts next etc etc.
I have to thanks Steve Harvie and ...

Re: Fettling a TLR 200
Hi Michael
Welcome to 'Team Honda'
Lots of people are working on TLR200's and 250's right now, they have become very popular over the last few years. For every reply you will probably get a differing idea as to what works but for what it's worth, here's my take:
Gearing is 10 : 48, I originally ...

Re: Museum queens
Her who MUST be obeyed has so far been very ....... very patient and understanding and I will definately not be pushing the buttons to test this theory anytime soon.
Perhaps the checkerplate will have to wait.
