Have you had a chance to pull down those shocks yet???

Just went out to the shed of invention and had a quick squiz at the standard TLR shocks under the bench, and at a glance, i think they would probably come apart much the same as the Falcons. Just get the dust cover off and all will be ...

Thanks for info and the link to the strut coupler, if I'm gonna keep on playing around with shocks, then i should definitely invest in one.

Thanks for the info on the gas
when i was charging my shocks i found it hard to get the right pressure because the chamber is so small (eg, to simply check the pressure i would loose about 20 psi) so i regulated the air compressors pressure to 70psi and jammed it!!!

How do i do this with another ...

Hi all.

I pulled mine apart very much the same as Dave did, only i replaced all components. (Oil seals, Dust seals, shafts, guides and piston ring)

I didn't bother measuring the amount of oil that was drained (1 shock was totally empty). When i put them back together i followed instructions given ...

Well it appears that the lack of service or just fair opperation in general comes from the top.
i have not received the letter of apology that was promised to me by MNSW's Daniel Gatt by last Thursday

So..... this leaves me wondering what to do?

Do i chase the letter?

Or should i be happy now ...

If i were you i may concider carrying a tyre pressure gauge in my back pocket............Just in case my tyres over inflate between sections.......If you know what i mean ...

Hi Toby

My advise is wind the idle up so hi you can only stall the bike with the kill switch. This will help for the weekend anyway.
Maybe take extra fuel?

and How many sausage rolls can you bake in a ride?
This could limmit the amount of people you go riding with.
Oh, and i'm not after any royalties but you might want to concider a pin through the back to prevent a poitential early ejection on those 2nd ...
