Re: 4 stroke V 2 stroke
I have owned a 2007 290 Sherco as a complete n00b trials rider, but reasonably experienced off road big bore dirt rider, for a few months, I have now owned a 320 Sherco 4 stroke for a year.
If I was into just trials competition, I would have kept the 2 stroke.... as any numb nuts can ride one it ...

Re: seats?, who's got one?
The Ebay seat for US$89 is available here in Australia from any Chinese pit bike importer for $20 or you are bveing ripped off
Mounting it won't be too hard.
But....Will sitting in that position be anymore useful to a learner than trying to sit on your trail bike?

No biggie but thought you may like to know.

Re: Trials Helmets
From what I have seen, you do not need to pay more for a Trials helmet, they start from about $150.

Re: Old ('ish) Dog here to learn new tricks
Very, very nice Auto and congratulations on the new bike..
Did you manage to take it out today and if so, what are your thoughts on it?? Advantages/disadvantages between the 2 stroke and the 4??
Hi Nev,
Keeping in mind these are the ramblings of an unfit novice with about 2 months experience ...

Upgraded the problem child to an almost new 3.2 4T

All I can say is, be very weary buying an ex A graders bike.
