TLR 250

Post by sharvie »

Has anyone converted the loose ball set up to a tapered bearing type on a TLR? (1985 TLR 250F)

If yes, please advise sizes or bearing code

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They must be available...
http://www.wemoto.com/bikes/Honda/TLR_2 ... rings_Set/

but that price would make your eyes water.

Just a matter of getting the dimensions or taking them to your local bearings supplier.

All Balls list the dimensions of their bearings on page 9 in this catalogue...http://www.birdman.net.au/PDF/Birdman%2 ... 0Balls.pdf

Hope your steering bearings worked out ok?
I dont suppose you would have a spare piston for a TLR250F in you box of bits??
I need one to complete a restoration on my TLR. lozza

Hi Lozza,

Sorry to take so long to reply, I have been away on annual leave, and notice of reply to postings is sent to my work email. I dropped in their today and saw your reply. Anyway I do have a new 70.1mm teflon coated piston in my spares kit. I got it from here.
