Someone who has a TY125 wanted to see how different the cylinder and head from a TY175 looked to that of a DT175 of the same era.
Here are photos of a DT175 motor that is of the same era as the TY175 motor (DT175A 1974, B 1975, C 1976, D 1977).
I noticed while taking the photos that the clutch cable retainer on the DT motor is attached to the inner case while on the TY175 it is attached to the cylinder. There are also many other differences but nothing insurmountable for someone who wants to convert their TY125 to a 175cc motor and can't find a TY175 cylinder and head.
The YZ 125 B,C and X have bottom ends that are more similar to the TY175 bottom end, while the DT175 cylinder is the closest design to the TY175, sharing internal dimensions and port timing with the TY175.
