A little bird has just informed me that we now have a brand new cousin in the form of the Central Queensland Trials Club (CQTC) just recently formed and incorporated in Gladstone and morphed out of the Rocky Trials Club (RTC) making Central Queensland yet another strong hub for trials in this country. This on top of the recent formation of the Coonabarabran Trials Club (CTC) certainly confirms that trials is alive and well and the fact that these clubs have taken the unafilliated route may be a statement of intent for the future, depending on which side of the fence you straddle, but either way if it means more bums on seats, more bikes out of sheds and more bike & accessory sales for our struggling distributors it can only be a step in the right direction.
We at SQTA offer our congratulations and full support to CQTC, along with CTC and of course the already well established RTC, and look forward to a long and fruitful cross competitive relationship both now and into the distant future.
