Re: BULTACO 1974 M124 correct colours
Hi Montesa 13. I can`t help you with the paint code but all of the red Bultaco`s in the seventies all used the same red. The Sherpa`s, the Pursang`s and the Frontera`s. The only different one was the 213 Alpina which was a metallic red. So if you can get hold of a Pursang sidecover you could match it to that. The slimlines are the same red as the slightly later ones such as yours. I hope this helps. I have some but I had it eye matched so I could spray a slimline tank so it has no code. Graham.

PPG is a paint brand. They also own Protec Paints which is a cheaper option.

All
I am having trouble getting someone (Gold Coast) to mix up/match the red and silver Bultaco colours. (PPG or DAR 74013 and 34926).
No one seems to be able to find these old codes and reference them to newer ones.
Does anyone know where I can find someone to do this?
Thanks and kind regards... David

Hey twistedleader - I wouldn't stress too much about an exact match. Back in the day, Bultaco matched their paint colours 'by eye', some were close, some were not.
