G'day folks,

OK I admit it, it was me who created this forum and the for sale one... :D

My son has been making noises about bike trials, and after he has trashed his mountain bike through continual "sumping" it on logs etc I thought I may have to invest in a dedicated machine.

Probably really good cross training to be had there for mototrials too! Maybe I should buy him a bigger bike so I can have a play when he's at school

Enjoy!
Keith.

Hi Keith,

Yep "dedicated machine" is the way to go. You'll see him coming on leaps and bounds after that. That’s what happened to my son.

Make sure you give him a chance to ride with other Trials bike riders too. After that, the shopping list gets longer, but the results are much better too.

You might want invite the Bike Trials guys on http://www.observedtrials.net
Aus section http://www.observedtrials.net/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=13
over to TA too. I’m sure some of them would appreciate having their own Australia site.

But be warned. Theses young guys speak a language all of their own.

Best of luck with this.
