M158 - finished the tidy up, didn't touch the motor. Just needs a crankcase seal to finish off. Very different to the M199 to ride. Lots smoother power, and feels quite shorter (but only 15mm in swingarm length). After pulling it apart you notice how cheaply made this model was compared to others. No wonder the frame was bent in every possible place $$

This is for The Observer, though many will relate.
Like so many of us, we all collect along the way.
This photo is one of this years "Twinshock Trail Ride"
Every year I dust them off, pass them out to friends and we all have a fantastic day.
It starts with breakfast, and is backed up by a ground crew who meet us as we emerge fron the bush for both morning coffee...... and lunch and refuelling.
This ride was a full 7 hours ...... giving us good reason for rehydration at the afternoon BBQ and in to the night.
The irony is that apart from one other on a modern bike (ty250 was not behaving on the day), I was the only one on a monoshock ( my TY350 - love it).
The TLR200 at the front was revived recently after 15 dormant years. KEYCHANGE will know of this.
The bloke on the Quad Bike is my Dad,in his mid 80's.
Christmas before last he was on the TY250A that "Smiley", 3rd in line is riding.
Last year he was laid flat on his back with a Stroke ....... but you cant keep a good trials rider down!
The following photo depicts me .... truly in love!!! .... attached to the bike that Smiley was riding .......... the secret .......
1974 ty250 aftermarket seat ............ HOW LONG HAS THIS BEEN GOING ON !!!!!
So ......... who is "Smiley" and who else can we recognise
Alastair Farquhar.

This is a Mk2 OSSA MAR that Tricub has recently been doing some work on for a customer. It looked so good that I thought it was worth posting these photos:

Just love the look of MARs. They look so "right", in an understated sort of way.
