I quite agree, esp when you see Mick on his.

Now you can't tell us about how Mick looks on his MAR without posting some photos of him on his MAR, it's all about sharing.

Thanks for those photos.
That is a wild looking Ossa. Is it Mick's original or is it a new combination, doesn't look to be much Ossa other than the motor and most of the frame.

From memory Mick did admit that the front forks were Fantic, but as for the rest I didnt like to pry too much. What I would say is that its one of the nicest steering/handling bikes I've ever ridden - I felt instantly at home on it.The only thing I would change is to adjust the throttle stop to give a tickover,Micks throttle control is much better than mine and all his bikes run without.
The engine is a 310,it sounds really wolley at low revs but is totally dependable.Open it up though, and it will really scream.Obviously set up VERY carefully, but then as we all discussed after - if anyone is going to have a well set up Ossa, this will be the one.

The bike in the trailer is 77 Ty250d and is my next project. It was a freebie barn find.

Are you trying to out-do Clive Hall's poster with that calendar?

The first ride. Harvey Range in NQ. Met a group of trials riders who ride every Sunday, mainly modern stuff, they were very helpful and friendly.

Gday guys here are the latest photos of my RL250 project. She is slowly getting there.
So far I have
* Painted frame and misc parts
*Zinc plated a heap of parts like spacers and foot pegs, bolts and brackets.
*Replaced all bearings cables controls and brakes.
*The wheels came with the project and are excell takasago in black fitted to nos hubs and stainless spokes, Michelin tyres are new.
*Fibreglass rear guard from BRONMOTO, Cut down Gonelli front from Don Newell.
*The motor has been pulled down for main bearings and seals, And rings

I am getting pretty close with this now and will be painting the tank and fitting Fibreglass side covers in the next week or two. I still need to make some mounting brackets for the airbox and a carb to airbox hose, and a few other bits and pieces. Then I will need to get some new rear shocks, I am 6 foot and 115kg any recomendations appreciated.

Brian
