Yes it would be a great idea to have a class for modified bikes! However thats simply not going to happen here in the UK, as it would mean those who have spent £10k+ on building Brit twin-shocks to ride in the "P65" class here, would need to ride them in modified, and thus would no longer have a very big advantage over anything vaguely authentic!

Its certainly something worth thinking about in Aus though, as a class along those lines would mean there would be no chance of the very costly Brit twin-shock specials making an appearance in your classic events.

Would you please take your arguments off this forum, and back to the UK (or US etc) We have our own rules, our own trials and our own unique aussie attitude to 'comeovers'. The latter is a reference to what we in the Isle of Man call people from the island across the water who can't help but come over to our lovely island and proceed to tell us how to run our lives, government, trials, business and everything else they know nothing about. As previously pointed out, this particular thread is for people who are proud of their twinshock bike, and want to show it off to others. To put it bluntly, I (we) DON"T CARE what you think about pre 65, square barrel, round slide or anything else going on in the UK. The occasional bit of technical info is more than welcome, but I for one am getting fed up with having to read this crap every time I log on to find out what's going on that's of interest to me. And I know I am not the only one.

Now that is what a Twin Shock should look like.
Only thing I can see that spoils the photo is that HRC rubbish on the stand.

I guess then the consensus view here is that not having any rules at all in regard to P65/TS is the way to go? If thats the case then I dont see that converted monos in the TS class, or Villiers powered Gas Gas in the P65 should present any problems at all.

Dear FM350, I'm a pretty patient person, which is why the Administrator of this website chose me as one of the forum Moderators, but I am getting very near to "moderating" your posts. Please avoid using this Topic about pictures of twinshocks to push your unrelated agenda.
For now at least you have the option of starting your own Topic to push your agenda/s.

As for me, I'll post in more approiate places in the future. "Show us a picture of your twinshock" isn't the right place to discuss twin shock rules and neither is talking about RL forks under a Betor shocks heading, as I have done. Sorry.

You folks have a very interesting forum here and I enjoy it and your oponions, suggestions and information very much. Thank you.

Not sure if this is the right place for this either? Perhaps a photo of me on my old RL will bring it in line.

David, to be a bit more specific than others, I'll hazard the guess that its Italjet frame & tank w Yam mono engine, front end, swingarm & rr wheel.

FM350, any chance you can post some more pictures of modified twinshocks, need some ideas.
