I've been toying with the idea of having some clutch covers cast that would look like the ones that people fit on TY175's after removing the oil pump.I think they use one from a YZ mx motor.I reckon they would tidy up the rh side of a TY250 motor really well, would you be interested if I got some cast ?
Jon, I'm going to have a guess about the frame mods in the footpeg/swingarm pivot area. I reckon he has moved that section of the frame behind the gearbox rearwards, moved the swingarm pivot closer to the rear of the gearbox and lengthened the swingarm.
italjet swing arm, Dave is on the money, a lot of changes can't be seen on photos, will post when complete.

Hi Been going to put some pictures up of my twinshock collection for a while ,just finding enough time is the problem. All these bikes started life in my shed in pretty bad condition .Maybe they had a bit of a hard time in the past. I don't know why I didn't take before and after pictures. They might have been nice look back on. I have done most of the work myself with a bit of help from Phil at Gas Gas Victoria and a few dollars spent along the way.But I have really enjoyed doing them. All of them have been ridden in trials down here in Victoria, sometimes coming home a bit second hand looking ,but thats half the fun I think.

The tank is a fibreglass copy of a ty tank but 25mm narrower and much lower at the back
Here's my KT250 lurking amongst some friends at our trial yesterday...
On the day we had 16 bikes: 4 x Honda TLR200 2 x Kawasaki KT250 1 x Honda TL250 1 x Yamaha TY250 1 x Yamaha TY175 1 x Fantic 200 1 x Fantic 301 1 x Montesa 200 1 x Montesa 348 1 x Bultaco Sherpa 250T ( can't tell you the model - blue frame & tank) 1 x BSA (C15 I think), plus 1 x backup Triumph Mountain Cub just in case
The Bully had some issues, so was replaced by the Monty 348, but the Monty was clearly not impressed at being a backup plan as it threw itself into the stream sideways (rider and all). Unfortunately no photos sorry...
That's what a Trials bike is meant to look like. Cedric you must have a big pot of polishing cream. You had better take a bit around to Davids place and give the little TY80 a touch up, it's looking a bit flat.

That poor TY80 carried me around brilliantly over rough stuff for a few hours on a cattle property recently and didn't miss a beat. It has a heart like an ox
