I've just finished tidying up my TY175 in preparation for the Brooweena ride next weekend and decided to try a slightly different colour scheme

Beautiful job David, pity there is a bolt missing on the back mudguard.

Hey Cedric that "missing" bolt is the reason why that mudguard has lasted 10 years without getting creased from crashing!
PS - the parts for Mac's bike are ready for collection

Just think yourself lucky that the welder didn't have a go at welding the kickstart and gearshift levers on.

That "creative" welding might be considered art in some circles.

Your posting reminded me of something similar that was given to a friend up here a couple of weeks ago. It was the "front part" of a TY250 twinshock - the frame tubes had been cut through behind the steering head and what he got still had the wheel, forks, triple clamps, headlight and even the tool pouch was still inside the little compartment they have there - but nothing else - gone! I would love to know the story behind that one.

 WOW. An RL 250 in pristine condition like that is a bargain at $100. Especially with original manual, and it started 4th kick.
Where do I get parts for it? Need Front brake cable, clutch cable and sprockets so I can have a ride. Aussie titles?

That's a good price - or a realistic one, compared to what somebody has just paid for the 3 Tacos on Ebay yesterday!

Howdy Y'all,

Hey Toby, no plans to ride this one, except maybe to the shops for the bread and milk. Bars are replica KT bend bars - they are wild but are much more comfortable than modern bars.

I have a second one built to ride that is pretty wild in itself. I will release the pics after the Brooweena trial this weekend.

Cheers,
