Howdy Y'all,

Not too bad actually Toby, had 3 issues on the bike - have solved 2 already:
1. Chain rubbed on shock spring - put some spacers in today
2. Jetting at 1/4 - 1/3 throttle was out - moved the needle and put in another pilot today
3. Pushes the front in loose corners under power - need to get a top clamp made, or some custom fat bar adapters that move the bars 1-1/4" forward.

Apart from that, sweet!

Cheers,
Your friendly neighbourhood Scorpa(Kawi)Man,
Scorps

I have had this old girl for a while(over 20 years). After competition ends this year, it's coming off the sections for a full going over. I had a Bultaco Sherpa T250 before and I should never have sold it.

Stu. I reckon you should cover your TY in the new White, red and grey Yamaha colour scheme.
It would look sweet.

At the moment my RL is Electrical Safety Orange. Ha ha ha.
Is it time to ride yet?

I've been thinking about the 'retro' black and yellow striping on the tank...maybe next year..

Good to finally see your faithful TY Stu. It makes me want to go outside and go for a ride.
Do you remember which model Bultaco you had?

David, I had a good look at Paul Arnott's Bulto, the red tank, to see if it was my old one. I think it was a '78 T250. It was a pain to start, but once it was started, it was a bloody good bike to ride. The left kick didnt faze me either. 8)

I thought Paul's "new" sherpa came from WA?
I'd rate kicking a 250 Bultaco as much easier than a Cota 348 and you can kick the Bully with either foot.

yep, it was easier with the left foot. I was told to sell the Bulto as I wouldn't be able to get parts for it, well I shouldnt have listened. I'd like another 1 sometime down the track.. 8)

I would rather push my twinshock than ride a modern!
