Extra fuel for the bush

If you guys go bush,do you carry extra fuel just in case , I have found some top tracks but im not sure of my techno's fuel range . And it would be a long push home if you run out .

I've used a design similar to that but made by Maier but prefer to put a couple of small fuel containers in my camelback.
Yes Beta Technos and most modern trials bikes don't go very far on a tankful. Twinshocks are much better than modern bikes for exploring, having usually 4 to 5 litres fuel tank capacity.
A Techno will usually go between 20km and 30km depending on the terrain.
I reckon 96 to 99 Technos are an excellent trials bike. Lovely to ride. The earlier model Technos are a bit snappy for my taste.

Fuel bladder. "Desert Fox" is good for 5 litres. Otherwise I use a 10 litre from Liquid Containment. Sometimes both. Alastair.

I actually have an auxilliary 5 litre rotationally moulded one which loops over the rear guard, but bladders are way way much better.

The Hebo Auxiliary tank is good for a bit more fuel. And it auto fills the main tank working on the lower pressure in the main tank to transfer the fuel from one to the other.

I go with a couple of aluminium 1l bottles in a backpack. A very cheap solution if you don't mind fuel on your back - not ideal really.

I'd like to knock up a simple carrier like a bicycle drink bottle holder to sit on the front of the bike.

The Givi TAN01 2.5l plastic mini jerry can looks OK too.
