How's this for an "Oldie" (guess who)

Post by Gary B »

Back when Men were Men & all bikes were the same.
You know, ride it to work, change bars, gearing & tyres for a Scramble.
Next weekend do the same for a Road Race, weekend after gear it down to buggery, back to off road tyres & have a go at this thing called "Trials".
Any guesses who the rider is & what he's riding.??

I'll have a guess at the bike - how about a Matchless/AJS?
Looks like a hanky with a knot in the corner on his head - de rigeur for 1960s summertime trials in NSW.
relax, nothing is under control

Bloody Hell David,
you must be almost as old as the rider to recognise the head wear.
No wonder you live in Qld.
Good guess with the bike too, 1956 Matchless Comp. =D>
