TY250 exhaust internals on show
I have always wondered why TY250 exhausts are so heavy but the other day I had need to cut the front end off one and all was revealed. now I know what people were talking about in the 1970s about jap bikes having dual-walled main chambers. Maybe with this one it is a triple-walled exhaust!

good one David! compared to my DG exhaust on my IT400, the TY exhaust is an anchor! I might look into getting all that crap out you have in the pic later this year. Is it really needed for trials? A good repacked rear silencer should be enough to pass the scrutineers?
