Hi all
As I have had my TLR200 for a little while now I would like to strip away the weighty stuff, indicators, tail light and headlight assembly. I have seen some posts , maybe from Andy, regarding the wiring tricks associated with removal of the electricals, leaving a kill switch and ignition system. But the one thing that has me stumped is the plugging of the hole in the front hub when I remove the speedo cable. Any clues or tips out there!
Merry Christmas

Hi Phil,
Black silicone is the go, not that glamorous, it works though.

............ agreed but with a slight variation. So as not to gum up the hole too much I went to the local hardware store and bought a small plastic cap that more or less fits the hole. Apply a little silicone and pop it in the hole, looks a bit better than just a silicone bung but does the same thing.
Cheers
Andy

Hi lads
Thanks for the practical and less than elegant solution. I was fcussed on a piece turned up on lathe to fit said hole in hub. But I do like the ablity to do the job and get right back out there. Is there anything that can't be fixed with silicon, I think not.
Best wishes and thanks.

But what do you do with that red fluid that is left in the bottle after you use the cork?

The black rubber bungs you use in the arse

of your tinny to block the drain holes. They come in a heap of sizes and come in red as well.

Thank to all for these imaginative uses for bungs of all colours and the use there of however deviant. Perhaps I might follow the Honda colour theme and alternate between red, blue and white.
Regards and Merry Christmas
