so which bike???

Howdy,

Age old question, but ideas would be much appreciated.

Just getting into trials riding and have so far riden a Betta 250, Sherco 250, Gas Gas 250 and Ossa280 (2011) and a 200, wich I think was a Sherco.

Rode the Sherco, Gas Gas and Ossa on the weekend and so far, liking the Ossa the most, with feeling the most comfortable on the bike and able to turn it the best. Was a 2011 model, though had the 2012 engine map loaded, so it was smooth and kick started no issue. Sherco was very nimble, but I found it a bit small, though I understand the front forks can be dropped down a bit. Gas Gas was a lot more comfortable, but just couldn't ride it as well. And the Ossa combined both - the most comfortable of the three and rode it the easiest. I understand the Ossa has a bit less power, but I cant see this being an issue for me for a long time.

Anyway, keen to hear any thoughts people may offer, rather than rabbit on myself.

Take the bike you like the most, that is important.
Everyone will offer you help and advise but at the end of the day it is what you feel most comfortable with
I have had a new OSSA 2011, New Sherco 250 (2011) and now a new OSSA 2012. (had to wait for this to arrive)
I just like OSSA best, but all the bikes are good
not sure where you heard the OSSA has less power than a 250. It has far more, but delivers it in a very linear way
But have fun with the choice
