Re: Parts for TY 250 C

Hi

I just had a set of TY forks rechromed by Rad in Qld. http://www.radhardchroming.com.au/

They seem to charge a standard rate of $150 per leg.

They did a great job. :D

Hi Andrew

Following is a link to a seat cover from the UK. I recently sourced one for my TY and all worked out well.

I hope this helps.

Re: TY 175 Restoration and TY Challenge

Hagsta provided the article below on the TY 175. Of particular interest is the identification of year models from the serial number.

Re: TY250A. The very first one.

The very first production model TY250A made was stamped 434-000101, it was the first of approx 18500 "A" models to be built, #101 was kept by Yamaha for the factory museum..
The very first production model TY250A to be sold was stamped 434-000102. Here is a photo of #102 nearly 35 years after it ...

Re: Where are they now?

Hi

Just scanned a copy of a postcard I found today. The postcard was packaged with a TY250 that I bought new in 1974.

Where is Mr Andrews now :?:
